Having published this site for over ten years and being involved in the ground floor of every change and alteration since our start I can very accurately gauge the potential impact of certain changes as we’re about to make them.

Over the years we’ve done everything possible to continually improve this site. It’s an ongoing process of watching the internet and the existing technology and how these tools might apply to our resources. We’ve had the pleasure of watching the digital pallet expand constantly allowing us to improve our delivery of stills and videos to our faithful viewers.

I couldn’t have imagined 3000 res images 10 years ago nor dreamed of the super high quality HD Divx videos that we offer our viewers today. So many things that are just standard plate for us now were complete technology fantasies not that long ago.

While all this chatter? Because, we’re about to launch an entirely new way for our members to view our videos that I believe will revolutionize your experience on our site.
With at least 10 new exclusive new vids a month this embellishment will be monumental.

Beginning in September we will have a video format much like YouTube only better. Our videos will preview in a streaming flash format at a slightly higher quality than YouTube and they will also be viewable (instantly streaming) at a much higher quality—good enough for immediate viewing and total enjoyment.

We will continue to have the usual download options available—Divx, Windows Media, QuickTime and also I-Pod. But, the key here is the streaming flash that will be right at your fingertips as soon as you go to that feature.

Initially we’ll launch this feature with all new videos (beginning in September) and as quickly as we can we’ll add this component to the entire video library. I’m hopeful to target early 09’ for the entire video library.

Meanwhile with the other recent change we’ve made with our videos—making everything we’ve shot in HD available in HD, the options will be what we feel ideal for every type of Digital Desire member. I can’t frickin wait to share this with all of you!
